Poly & Chai by Yung Ho Chung, John Madejski Garden 2nd June-1st September 2008.

This summer leading Chinese Architect Yung Ho Chung transformed the John Madejski Garden with a unique installation. The screening elements that are used are a traditional device in Chinese in Chinese garden design, but here they are made from recyclable plastic paving blocks commonly used in construction sites all over China. Using banal and utilitarian material Yung Ho Chang has created a sumptuous garden space.
